The projectIn this project we inventory Dutch artefacts made from osseous and keratinous material. The artefacts are incorporated in an accessible online database (BoneArt) and analysed on a basic level. After finishing the project all specialists will have access to BoneArt.
The study provides a solid foundation for future research into bone artefacts. |
Objects to be includedNo sharply defined periods are used to determine which objects are incorporated in the inventory, but the emphasis lies on the period from the Mesolithic to 1850 AD.
